I have big issues with the America hating, lying, communistic Bill McKibben (
McKibben issues global warming warning to Vermont House panel), who led the protests against the Keystone XL pipeline project which would have provided tens of thousands of jobs, but let's focus on one of the State of
Vermont's Representatives for a minute - Rep. Tony Klein, D - E. Montpelier.
Is this a statement you'd expect to hear from an intelligent man?:
“The most poorly sighted renewable project is better than a new fossil fuel (burning) plant." He goes on to say, incredibly [and the Free Press paraphrases for him] - “Don’t let folks derail you from what the real issue is” — climate change.
In addition to fossil fuels they [McKibben, Klein et al] have simultaneously built up a wall of propaganda and religious-like opposition to the best alternative to fossil fuels - the nuclear power industry.
So the real issue we face, according to Rep. Klein, is climate change, not our ever expanding, monolithic state and federal governments who seek to control every aspect of our lives, including the on going attempt to take over our health care, and to send us back in time to the middle ages.
The "Greenies" want you to believe that the use of fossil fuels caused the devastating Hurricane Irene. I knew the power hungry Progs [communists] in this state would never dream of letting this crisis go to waste. They are out to destroy the economy and our way of life, thereby making us all more dependent on their God - big government [them].
