Vermont Public Television did Vermont a disservice by including 3 America-hating, 'occupying', pot smoking fringe candidates who have no chance of getting any votes to speak of, in last week's gubernatorial debate. One candidate goes as far as saying we should all learn to live without electricity. These people hate everything that has made America great. Watch the debate here and see if you don't agree.
At the 46 minute mark Republican candidate Sen. Randy Brock decided he'd had enough and had this to say: "Sometimes some of us forget that even in Vermont we're part of the United States of America and that we as citizens have individual responsibilities. As one who is a veteran, I object to some of the comments that I've heard here today about militarism. We all have a responsibility as citizens and the people who serve us in the military and in the National Guard do so to serve our country and to protect us from harm. I believe that's a responsibility that each of us should take seriously."
