Ben & Jerry will headline an event Tuesday night in Montpelier, Vermont in an arrogant attempt at "bringing down the U.S. Supreme Court decision Citizens United v. the Federal Election Commission" that said the government may not ban political speech by groups of people in elections.
"Organizers hope to light a fire under efforts to pass a Constitutional amendment" overturning free speech.
The Supreme Court got it right. What are corporations but groups of people? Corporations are organized by people, for people, and are invested in by people. Ben & Jerry's, the ice cream all lefty stoners love, is a division of the British-Dutch Unilever conglomerate which is invested in by and supports many, many people in Vermont and the U.S.
