A few blog notes Memorial Day evening:
    America is under attack from within and without. The attack from within is being lead by Barack Obama and  the far left. This includes turning on Israel and it includes provoking good, law abiding, patriotic Americans.

    Surprise! Barack Obama’s close family friends, terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, and top campaign bundler Jodie Evans from Code Pink are top activists with the Gaza flotilla group that attacked the IDF today. Read this. So the IDF was ambushed by "peace" activists.

    Sounds like Obama knew this was going to happen. The main stream media immediately started to mis-characterize this event.
    Israel was attempting to defend itself. The Israeli soldiers were attacked as they boarded the flotilla. The flotilla group knew this was going to happen, they'd been warned. Israel had offered to take the AID supplies to Gaza for security reasons. This "blockade" has been in effect since 2007. The IDF intended this to be a peaceful boarding. Western media forgets to mention that 'Gaza Flotilla' is a terror-linked organization.
    So just this week Mr. Obama has openly criticized one of the  United States, covered up his inaction in response to the BP oil spill (disaster), lied concerning the Joe Sestak affair, refused to honor America's Fallen on Memorial Day, and is now, under false pretenses, preparing to throw a long time ally, Israel, under the bus driven by Hamas and Radical Islam.
    How can things get any worse? Don't worry, I am afraid they will. No matter where he was born, this President is not an American.

    The White House has no choice but to lie about the Joe Sestak job offer. Telling the truth would be admitting to a crime and a potentially impeachable offense. Barack Obama's Presidency would be over. The fact that Bill Clinton is involved makes this even more suspicious, not less. It's no accident he had lunch with the President Thursday. The main stream media will defend and promote this lie and continue to defend their hero in the face of any evidence to the contrary. The White House is taking a huge gamble. If the lie doesn't work there will be a conspiratorial cover up to contend with which, in combination, like Watergate, will exacerbate the crime beyond the original offense, making impeachment a sure thing. The country would have to suffer the impeachment of a President who many Americans tragically, and mistakenly, pinned all their hopes on.

What many on the left seem to think though, is that fairness means equality, that we are all or should be equal. We are all "created equal". It's what one does with that that matters. The Obama administration seems to be out to make us all equal e.g. wealth redistribution.

Obama cannot pass up any opportunity to throw America under the bus

    President Obama seems to want to take advantage of every opportunity to expand the role of government in the lives of Americans and American corporations. The tone of his news conference yesterday was defensive and condescending. He defended his administration's handling of the gulf oil spill  and accused us of not knowing the facts of the events surrounding the BP oil spill crisis when it is his administration that has suppressed those facts. ( Update: Obama assails dumb Americans for failing to appreciate his rescue efforts, whiffs on MMS questions, drags Malia into the fray - Michelle Malkin ) He spent a lot of time talking his way around the choreographed questions asked by his MSM.
    The Obama regime will be eager to use this environmental disaster to gain more power and control in a bid to form a totalitarian government. The president seems to think government should be responsible for all aspects of our lives. "How can the government prevent more [once in a lifetime] crises from happening?" the President asked. When asked if he regretted calling for expanded domestic drilling, the President replied "I was wrong to believe oil companies had their act together" when it came to worst case scenarios. Barack Obama seems to think government should be prepared to save us from everything.
    When questioned about the Joe Sestak scandal, the President replied that an official answer would be forthcoming and gave his assurance that nothing improper took place.
   He also took the opportunity to once again criticize Arizona's immigration law and to not protect or defend The Constitution. He refused to "not endorse" any of the various boycotts called for against one of The United States.
    It seems that Barack Obama is eager to not miss any opportunity to throw America under the bus and doesn't understand the country he is governing.

Obama seems to be dragging his answer out as long as possible. Probably to limit number of questions. 2 so far from one correspondent.Never been a point during crisis when administration hasn't been on top of the situation. BP actions ordered by government.
Jake Tapper: How can you say everything is being done when many experts and officials say otherwise? President long windedly talk his way around this question without answering it.


My opinion is that this disaster has been set up by, taken advantage of, by Obama government as a distraction away from other issues.


Obama continues to not directly answer questions in a long winded manner. 3 questions so far.


Impression that BO knew which reporters he would call on ahead of time. Soft ball questions except token hard ball question from Jake Tapper which the President did not answer directly.


What happens in a worst case scenario? How can the government prevent more once in a lifetime crises from happening.Juliana: Can BP be trusted on any of the information they have been providing? Fifth question so far. Administration must verify BP's information. Obama - Took too long for us to determine accurate calculation of flow. Helen Thomas; When are we going to get out of Afghanistan? Sixth question. We are going to clear out Taliban strongholds, strengthen Afghan military, support Afghan stable government.

NYT: Do you regret calling for expanded drilling? Answer- Domestic oil production important but we also must promote solar, wind, etc. I was wrong to believe oil companies had their act together when it came to worst case scenarios. It just takes one. My opinion - This is a crisis Obama will use to increase government control, to increase his power.
My count - 8th question: Elizabeth Birnbaum was fired by President Obama. Comes out at news conference by NYT's Jackie Calmes. Obama becomes argumentative.
President: we're going to have to change the way people live in this country.
9th question: Troops to border. What do you plan to achieve? Would you support boycott against Arizona? 
Response- Again criticizes Arizona law. Will not endorse or not endorse the boycott. For federal gov't to do it's job everybody's got to step up (cooperate). Indicates he would legalize illegals. National Guard not a response to Arizona law.
10th question-Sestak scandal: Will answer in the near future but can assure that nothing improper took place.

    Drug addicts will go to any length to obtain their marijuana. Sounds like the one highlighted in this Seven Days article, who accuses the government and the pharmaceutical industry of keeping him addicted to opiates, needs to get back into rehab.     Here, Jonathan Weisman of The Wall Street Journal, attempts to link Rand Paul's crazy libertarian ideals (he doesn't seem to be able to acknowledge that government sometimes needs to take action to make things right, such as in the case of the 1964 Civil Rights Act) to the Republican Party and the Tea Partiers. He (Weisman) also perpetuates the lie that Republicans are racist and ignored the fact that it was they who passed the 1964 Law. He goes on to link racism to those who protect and defend the Constitution. He calls "many in the Tea Party movement" racist. This is not an opinion piece but a news article and an example of (in this case) a rogue MSM reporter incorporating lies into an intelligent sounding narrative that many people will believe.

The Obama administration is attempting to erode the First Amendment by mandating that web sites and blogs provide links to opposing viewpoints as if opposing view points aren't already easy enough to find whenever one wishes. "Congress shall make no law...abridging the freedom of speech." Well, if the government telling you what to publish in your own publication isn't "abridging the freedom of speech", I'd like to know what is. We should all be alarmed at this President's agenda and his attack on our Constitution.

Recovering from liberalism

    I am in recovery from liberalism, having been deprogrammed by conservative bloggers like Michelle Malkin and talk show hosts like Michael Savage and authors like Ayn Rand. Liberalism runs in my family. I'm taking it one day at a time in my fight against this debilitating disease which almost ruined my life. I believed liberals had all the answers and could solve all the world's problems. I believed liberals were better people than conservatives. I looked down on and was condescending toward conservatives. I hated them. I thought they were closed minded and inflexible, intolerant and racist. I held the collective in higher regard than the individual, not realizing that without the individual, there is no group. I believed conservative thinking to be barren and unoriginal, stiff and authoritarian, when in fact it was liberalism that was all these things.
     Liberalism teaches people to be "tolerant" and "understanding" when it comes to moral issues, that emotions are higher than intellect. Liberalism teaches us to love the state instead of our families, that the state will provide. It penalizes people for individual effort and personal accomplishment and rewards mediocrity. It teaches that Christianity is antiquated and mythical while embracing non-western religions like Islam. The left tells the lie that they care about people, the environment, and America when all they are interested in is power.
     I believed that the natural end result of spiritual enlightenment was liberal thought and the reason liberals were more evolved than conservatives. My higher power has blessed me with a bright flash of insight that most of what I thought to be true about American politics was wrong and misguided.
    This is what my blog is about and what motivates me to blog, hopefully every day, one day at a time, defending individual liberty and freedom provided to us by the Constitution.

    A friend of mine today made a reference to the Phoenix Suns calling themselves Los Suns in protest of AZ's immigration law. He said "I think it's great we're getting some support." I was speechless. He is of Italian descent and from New Jersey. He is the same friend who started in on me one day as I was reading Jonah Goldberg's 'Liberal Fascism' on my break. He is not the only friend I cannot talk to about my switch from left to right. Obama supporters are blind followers who, when asked, cannot come up with a good rational reason for why they feel the way they do. I get responses like "All the changes are so exciting!" or "I just know he's a decent man and I really like him." They are intelligent people but are not paying attention to what is going on and are getting all their information from main stream media.
    So all I could think was "who's the We?" and "why would we support illegal aliens?" Why is the President supporting illegal aliens? Why are the Phoenix Suns supporting illegal aliens? Why is main stream media supporting illegal aliens? Why are none of the above supporting the Constitution? The President led the way on this issue with his deliberately irresponsible comments following the passage of AZ's sb1070. He encouraged all of his fanatics to ignore the truth and instead seek the approval of their "Great Father" Barack.
    This is the way things will be in America with one issue after another until Obama is exposed for what he really is, a power hungry, misguided fraud.

Main Stream Media Manufactures Reality

    According to a recent poll on the liberal Daily Kos 59% of respondents think the Times Square bomber will end up being either a 'tea partier' or a 'militia wack job'. Liberals want to be able to blame violence on 'tea partiers' or militias no matter what the truth is in order to discredit any opposition to or criticism of the Obama government. If you are getting your news from main stream media you are getting a manufactured reality.
    According to main stream media, if you criticize President Obama you are a racist. Tea party people are racists. People who oppose the Obama government are militia wack jobs. If you oppose nationalized health care, you don't care about people. If you oppose illegal immigration you are a xenophobic, racist. If you defend the Constitution you are a right wing nut job. It is the left who continues to play the race and the hate card again and again and again.
    Today's liberals have been thoroughly brain washed by decades of progressive propaganda and communist infiltration. The far left, led by Barack Obama is out to destroy America. Part of their plan is to thoroughly discredit any opposition in order to clear the way to total power.
   Main stream media, the press as we know it, has been seduced by the Cult of Obama.
  
 

Preserve, Protect and Defend

    If I were in another country illegally, I would expect to be questioned by the authorities whose job it is to secure that country's borders and enforce the laws of that country. President Obama could quell the whole Arizona illegal immigration situation by doing his job preserving,  protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States.

One Way or Another

    It remains to be seen if there is anything of substance to the Obama cheating scandal, but wouldn't it make sense for a fraud like Barack Obama to be a fraud in his marriage also?
    I don't want to see Barack Obama go down for something like cheating on his wife. I want to see him go down for the things he deserves to go down for like treason, for starters. However, I think he is so dangerous that I'd rather see him go down for adultery than not go down at all.

God Bless America

    I'm so worried about my country tonight that I am unable to write a coherent, rational post. America is in danger. Our President is a fraud and the main stream media and press are letting him get away with it, with destroying America and the Constitution.
    How can anyone just normally walk down the street or whatever as if everything is ok? Why isn't EVERYONE talking about this? Well, we know that 30% of Americans 'strongly approve' of the way Barack Obama is doing his job as President. That, to me, is unbelievable. How can any freedom loving American possibly approve of even one thing this President has done? If there is something, I'd sincerely like to know what it is. Why are you so blindly following this man? He is not what he seems to be. One day you will regret that you did and by then there may be no one there to help you.
    Tonight I am praying for my country, that it may not be too late to change it's current course. That those who have not been paying attention will wake up.

    Thousands across Bay Area protest AZ immigration law
    Barack Obama has deliberately mis-characterized AZ's new law in order to create civil unrest.
    If there is enough civil unrest, maybe there will be cause to impose martial law.
    Main stream media has deliberately mis-characterized AZ's new law.
    America is in danger.

May Day Rally in Vermont A Non-Event

    I attended Vermont's May Day rally (reiterated) for health care, organized by the Vermont Workers Center, yesterday at the Vermont State House where a few hundred ralliers complained about the free market system and the insurance companies who "decide who lives and who dies" and re-insisted that health care is a human right. At one point children were lined up on the State House steps to read a script which ended with "If they don't give us health care, they're saying people don't matter."
    The Health Care Is A Human Right- people clearly don't want anyone involved in providing health care making a profit or competing to do better.
    Unfortunately, due to bad timing on my part, I missed the event's main attraction, admitted socialist Senator Bernie Sanders. His speech, I heard, was predictable, vintage Bernie, but his way of stirring a crowd into a collective, socialist frenzy can be a sobering experience for those of us conservatives who may sometimes be in denial that the socialists in this country are dead serious about their agenda.

    I also found out that medical marijuana is now also a human right, courtesy of a small contingent of sign wielders declaring it to be true.
    The big disappointment of the afternoon was that there were no counter- protesters, no immigration protesters, no tea party trouble makers. I was crestfallen. "Preaching to the choir" was the order of the day in Vermont on a beautiful, sunny day under the golden dome in the capital of the most liberal state in the union.

    According to those opposed to Arizona's sb 1070, it violates human dignity to expect people to obey the law.

    People can be unbelievably stupid, even those from whom you have come to expect intelligence.

    Modern day liberals have no place in American politics.

    A large section of America are not paying attention to any of this. They are going to the mall, drinking their beer, and in general, blocking out reality.
