Shumlin Elected Vermont's Next Governor

    Vermont is now definitely the most liberal state in the union. The writing is on the wall. According to WCAX, with 94.4% of the vote in, Democrat Peter Shumlin has a 50-48% lead over his Republican opponent Brian E. Dubie. The Crocker Post is regrettably calling this race for the Democrat and will have analysis tomorrow on one of the most fiercely contested Vermont campaigns in memory. Goodnight.
