A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Could the Constitution be any more clear? The right to keep and bear arms is not a privilege, but as the Constitution states, a right. Rights do not require a license, a fee, or any other restriction.
The Second Amendment is a perfect example of where the framers of the sacred document called The Constituition of the United States have been second guessed and accused of being short sighted and antiquated. The Constitution is a document for the ages written by some of the wisest human beings to ever walk the face of the earth.
There is included in The Constitution a provision for amending it, but we cannot simply ignore it or read things into it that are not there or assume the founders were incapable of foreseeing that it would be misconstrued by those with ulterior motives.
